Number 17 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Hello ok so I have over 1500 text boxes and would like to change a letter from n to m example I wrote in all of them 12.21 n instead of 12.21 m how can I do it with a click of a button? just like Microsoft word with the replace command thanks Quote
rkent Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 FIND command. A few hints, look for the little down arrow on the left side and pick that, check the Match Case box. Go through the other choices to narrow down your search. Also when replacing text be careful with a single letter. If you simply put in replace n with m you may get more changes that you wanted. Use instead (space)n replaced with (space)m. Obviously I am meaning to just hit the space bar once and then the letter. If they all end in 21 n, then use that to further narrow down what will be replaced. Quote

skipsophrenic Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 1: Click Edit 2: Click Find 3: Type in What you're searching for 4: type in what should be in it's place 5: choose whether it's just objects you select or the whole drawing (Layout tabs included) that the find and replace has to happen. Quote
