Excel > Inventor

i've linked an excel sheet to inventor, giving my inventor drawing a couple of options, i add/delete parts by making a pattern set the value to 0mm and swich the ul from 1 to 2 in the inventor sheet and after i toggle the visibilitie of the first part, ull see the only the second part turn visible or not exsisting at all..

i tought this was a very good method to make a nice inventor sheet and prevent myzelf to use VBA.

thats about my life's story , now for my problem.:

Ive used this trick on alot of items in my drawing. first only in the first assembly, that worked fine. now ive put some patterns in the components of my drawing and for some reason they work fine for the first couple of minutes, but after some time , and some toggle's on/off the visibility of the first component toggle's , wich leaves me with a chaotic drawing

any help on how to Permanently toggle the visibility of those components.
