Isolate Objects in Viewport Command

I need a command that will Isolate selected items in the Layout Viewport only, not in the Model Space. And a command that will hide selected items in the Layout Viewport. Any ideas?

Use layiso whilst the viewport is active. Or create a layer state setting and only apply it to chosen VP's.

How about the Express Tools LAYISO to Isolate layers and the Express Tools LAYFRZ to hide them.

Note to OP, using either command watch the command line, you can type S, enter, for Settings to change how the commands work.
