After reading the latest tutorial on CADTutor i realised some of the benifits of the double click action. I had always run past it in the cui and paued it no attention!

I have been trying to think of useful ways to utilize the double click action.

I have set it up so the on double click the dimension allows you to edit the value, as noted on the tutorial.

i am trying to set lines up so the on double click the chamfer cmd is envoked. this works but not exactly how i wanted it.

at the minute you click the line, chamfer command is envoked, the line auto deselects itself, you then have to select first and second lines. i would like it to not deselct the line and take it as your first line selected? i have tried using the select, previous etc but it does not work? anyone any thoughts?

also what do other people use the dbl click function for?

i have set my circles up to envoke offset, i suppose i depend what type of work you do but i would be very interested to here other peoples uses or any good tutorials?

Many thnaks,

Col
