Jadeous
I am trying to help a coworker with a drawing. On my computer if I open a drawing I've never opened before that some else had started, this warning window will pop up and give me a choice. On my coworkers computer, this warning window does not come up. Now I know there is a setting that enables you to automatically bypass this window by setting the default answer to no. I believe this to be my friends problem with his computer and therefore the reason he is having problems with the same drawing that opens just fine on my computer. Is anyone familiar with this window?

GCarr78
Maybe its inconsistancies with the installation between your Computer and your co-workers?
rkent
Looks like the drawing is using an external database and it resides on the other users hard drive. Are you using plain autocad or a vertical? Any in house customization to automate your drawings?
Jadeous
For anyone who may have this same problem while running CadMech/Duct, I have found the answer. Go to Program Files\Map-Software\CAD\editmap.exe Open this program, in the CAD Options, select Prompt for "Use Drawing Database" Click OK, and you're done. Close AutoCad, then reopen the drawing you are working on. The dialog box in my first post should appear.
