lingare Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Hi! So, my question is simple, but what I understand after alot of searching in this forum and Google, the answer is more complex. I want to make a house with real windows that really are transparent. But I don't understand how transparency in AutoCAD Civil 3D works!! It does often sound so simple in some threads, like "just change the transpareny" ... yeah right ... So please, tell me, how do I make it work for real? Thanks! Quote

Thanks! the default glass material adds a white hue to the window, if you change the glass to more of a dark Grey it should look more realistic. if you place stuff in the background it will most defiantly reflect, and with enough light in your building or object, you will get a lighter reflection outside, and lighting inside to make more realistic glass.
