What were you attempting to do when you received the error?

Has this happen more than once?

Has it happened when working in just one particular drawing or any drawing?

What OS are you running?

Have you installed the latest service pack for Electrical 2008?

Do you suspect a .NET framework problem and if so why?

starting up autocad
happens every time i load up/startup
win xp pro
latest service pack and maint pack i downloaded from autodesk
looked at threads and tried to remove update framework 2 and installed 3.5 and service pack
ocad worked fine till i renewedmy harddrivethis aut

Have you tried the Repair option found on your installation DVD?

Have you searched the AutoDesk website (general) or the Discussion forums (specific) for an answer to the problem?
