R. Curtice Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I'm having to insert multiple blocks in the same drawing, and need them all to be scaled to .7 - is there a way to lock the insertion scale so I don't have to change the scale every time in the insertion dialog box? Saving this step over hundreds of blocks would be a big time-saver. Quote
Lee Mac Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Why not just get LISP to automate the whole process for you - would be a BIG timesaver Quote
Lee Mac Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Or, as an alternative, insert them all at normal size, then select them all and scale them using the properties bar - they will all be scaled by their base point. Quote
Rebel Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Or, as an alternative, insert them all at normal size, then select them all and scale them using the properties bar - they will all be scaled by their base point.Only downside to this is they cannot be exploded until the scale is set back to "1". Although I think the same is true for bellow. To the original poster, the answer is yes. When you bring up the insert dialog box the center section is devoted to inserting at a scale. uncheck the "specify on screen" button, and set your scale. Quote
