student86 Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Hi! Im looking for some help regarding, a spiral base for a spiral stairs. I have attached a photo of a stairs i am trying to reconstruct. you may see the lovely form of the base and angled edges. I can make the spiral stairs and steps etc and I am familar with the helix tool. However it is the carving of the base and making it a solid that i am having trouble with. If anyone has any tips or pointers of the best tools to use to do this I would be really grateful! Quote
