I am trying to model a "rod end" and I have no problem constraining
the "ball" to stay in the center of the "socket". When it comes to limiting the range of the angle that the faces of the socket may assume relative to the centerline of the ball and stud I am at a loss. If they become too great the socket intersects the stud, not allowable in the real world!
Any help would be appreciated!
Note: This problem has been solved using the "contact solver" utility of inventor! Thank you for your interest in my problem! Geoff
