spoongirl Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I'm using artisan sl on an autocad 2009 platform. I have a 3d model which has been working really well until today. Can anyone tell me how to visually adjust so that when i go to concept or realistic in the visual styles menu i don't get a washed out drawing with an 'x-ray' apperance (ie showing the constuction lines of all the objects)? basically i want to see a 'solid' object. thanks spoongirl Quote
Mike Shilton Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I would guess you have the opacity setting turned on for both of these visual styles. Open the visual styles manager (View>Visual Styles>Visual Styles Manager) and select the visual style you want, say conceptual, form the options available at the top of the dialog. Beneath this, select Face Settings and either toggle off the opacity by picking the Opacity icon on the Face Settings title bar or set the opacity to 0. This should turn off the opacity. Mike S Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 If it is the lines you're not wanting to see, leave the faces alone and set the Edge Mode to None. Quote
