Hi,

I wanted to make custom leaders in a dynamic block, but the problem is that text can only be edited if they are attribute texts (afaik). But when i need more lines than one i reach a border i cannot seem to cross.

I tried to apply an array, but after reading some stuff on google it doesn't seem possible.

An other option was multiline attribute texts. However the textalignment goes like in the Mtext command, and it does not offer simple left, right of middle alignment.

The problem i walk in to is that when i enter the letter g (or j, p, q and y) the text jumps a little.

This might not be any problem if every line has one of these letters in them or none of them, but an mix of 'containing' and 'not-containing' these letters makes it an mess when the text is put at an set distance on a leader line.

Anyone who can tell me if it is possible that the text won't 'jump' ?

Have you looked into variable TSPACEFAC ?

Guess i didn't look further than the length of my nose...

Aligning the text top -left, -center, -right cleares any 'jumping' problems :).

Edit:

Cancel that. It doesn't work cause now it extends to below the leader line, and i want to let it stay above the line :(...

However i tried that command, but don't see anything happen.

According to the help file, you need to select your instance(s) of Multi-Text Attributes, open the Properties panel, select Exactly for the Line Space Style, and set Line Space Factor to 1. This should eliminate the differences between your mix of 'containing' and 'not-containing' letters

I allready found out that that will work for Mtext, but those options aren't there when using an attribute text. And i need the last to be able to edit text when it is in a (dynamic) block.
