td88 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Making a titleblock, I've done an "imageattach" of a logo in jpeg. When I took to work on another comp., I ended up with a path at that location. How do I either, transfer the image to work or permanently attach to the drawing? thanks Quote
Cad64 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Use ETRANSMIT to bring your title block to work. You can't permanently attach images to your CAD drawings unless you insert them as OLE objects. It's generally best to insert your logo image and then trace over it, if possible. Quote
29xthefun Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 You can insert the logo and choose Relative Path, as long as the logo is in the same folder as the drawing it should load up where ever you take the folder. But as Cad64 says tracing the logo is best and it tends to look better. Quote
fuccaro Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 But as Cad64 says tracing the logo is best and it tends to look better. Exactly! And we should mention here the problems sometimes occur with the raster images in AutoCAD. For a simple logo: import it and trace over the image. For a complex one: use a raster to vector program and adjust the result. Once you have the logo in vector format, insert that one in your templates. Quote
Tankman Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I've been using INSERTOBJ and it seems to be workin' quite well. Might I be missing something? Quote
