Create 3D Solid Text

:)Greeting!

Many years ago I'm using AutoCAD 2000 to create all the 3D solid text. I can explode the text and extrude them to become 3D but after I'm upgrade to AutoCAD 2005 the features already gone neither AutoCAD2008.

So may I know create it by AutoCAD2005 or do we need to get any plug-in for this? Thanks you very much.

You need to use the Express Tools TXTEXP command to Explode the text. Then you can Extrude it.

That's the way how I'm extrude the text by AutoCAD 2000 but my this AutoCAD2005 Full version doesn't have any Express Tools.

The only way I can do was Paste Special by AutoCAD Entities and not

%PRODUCT Entities. I can extrude the text but it didn't give me smooth result.

I also do not have the option to paste special %PRODUCT Entities, and I do have express tools running. How do I get that option?
