redcoat Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Good morning I would like to over ride the text in a dimension but it removes my tolerances. I have seen a script/routine that lets you change the dimension but keep the same tolerance settings/appearance. Example: I have a dimension reading 11 3/4" with my tolerance set to deviation +0 & -1/4. I would like it read 11 1/2" and do not want to change the actual drawing in model space. hope that made sense thanx in advance Quote
redcoat Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 11 \H0.5x\S1/2;"{\H0.5x;\S+0/-1/2" This is as close As I can get so far. Quote
Tankman Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Override properties, text, for the dimension? Might this get you by? Quote
redcoat Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 I need to be able to change the dimension without losing the tolerance setting. I can make it show the ± but the deviation style, which i need. Quote
