Hidden Messages (AC2008)

How do I view and alter the hidden messages options in Autocad 2008 (not 09 where it is easy)?

I'm not aware of there being a setting for this in 2008

Could you provide us with an example of a message you would like to view and alter? Just curious.

im lost what do you mean by hidden messages? do you mean like messages you get like tips/and options etc and where you have click don't show this again?

Yes, this is what I mean.

im sure the above can solve your problem, if not search for it theirs a few simliar threads indentical, but that was the 1 I was involved with.

I can't find the hidden message settings in options in 08 though.

are you sure? iv'e got 09 its under SYSTEM in options in the right hand side,

I would have thought 08 must have it there somewhere :wink:

Funny that AutoCAD saw fit to show the user how to show or disable all warning messages in versions 2000 through 2007. No talk of how to alter them though. Was this even an option? Altering a message?

reset your profile settings.

Yeah they stand out in the System tab in 2009 and its all good there.

However in 2008 that simply isn't there.

Resetting the profile is not a good suggestion. Do you reformat and reinstall Windows everytime you see an error message???
