Hi

please help, i need to fix this today (hopefully)

i have a dynamic block and the only attributes it has is a visability state.

i cant insert it into any other drawing and get it to keep its attributes.

insert>block wont work

dragging it into the drawing wont work

CNTRL SHFT C then CNTR V wont work.

i have re done the block a thousand times trying different things and just cant seem to make it work in any other drawing except the one its been created in.

Try WBLOCK then save as. Then try inserting the new DWG?

Let's just work on this aspect of your post.

I am using LT 2009 but I suspect 2006 works about the same. Right or wrong, this is how I drag and drop.

1. Open the source and destination drawings and view them both on a split screen.

2. Select the source objects and right click--not on an object.

Note: You do not first select copy. Just highlight/select the objects.

3. Don't let up when you right click, pause, and drag to the other window.

4. Drop.

My apologies if this doesn't work in 2006. I'm just trying to do what I can to help.
