application Failed...because its side-by-side configuration

I have been trying to install AutoCAD 2009 on my new computer with correct graphic card and Vista OS. But after I try to start the application it gives me this error:
"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more details."
I am unable to resolve this problem. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi Riverfriends, Im having the same issue, but with 3ds max. I was wondering if you were eventually helped or if you figured it out. If so, please tell me how you fixed it. Thanks man.
