LifeoRiley0 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 We have installed it on one computer so far to work out the issues first. My partner is having fits over there! I think I will wait until next week and then install it, the down side is it doesn't save back well. I can't work on the drawings he edits and saves. The 2010 upgrade becomes a total commitment. They become proxy somethin' or the other, All I know is I can't get it to work! Quote
Teeds Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I've got my copy as well and I've had it a couple of weeks. I generally let it sit until things are not staring me in the face and I have a full bottle of Woodford and some ice ... then I will install it! Quote
NBC Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Stop messing about, get it installed. If it doesn't work how you would like it; revert back to the version you are happy with; until you have more time to devote to 'trouble-shooting' and/or wait for the service pack Quote

Tomorrow, or Monday. I really dig the new Mesh tools. I'd like to see what plain jane AutoCAD has come up with on the new mesh modeling tools. Quote
AlinOz Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Just got mine yesterday. All eager to get it on and have played with it a bit today... Not bad, but I reckon we're all gunna find our fair share of bugs - the cycle starts over again. Oh, by the way, we need to petition the guys with the fingers on the forum buttons to add 2010 into the list of available Software... Tried to update my profile, but it doesn't exist in the list yet:geek: Quote
ReMark Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Go ahead...make my day. I dare you. I double dare you. Quote
NuttZ Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 We got ours about a week ago, but can't install until our IT dept. can do it. It's kind of frustrating just waiting around until they get time. Quote

NuttZ Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Time to take control of your own destiny Nuttz. I wish I could...its a pain in the butt sometimes...but the government is pretty picky about their computers. Quote
myself Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 well, we still waiting for 2010, it was told me that we are about to receive it, i hope to get it soon, sometimes seems like portugal is distant from everything And of course that im gonna have to wait for the same reasons "Nuttz" has mentioned, specially because we have a toolbar created by us to work with our network and there's the issue of checking to see if everything is working fine. tzframpton Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 Already seeing lots of problems with it after I installed it. I managed to easily get my "workspace" back to normal with my custom CUI files, so no worries there. Still, gonna take some getting used to. Quote
