rkent Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Hi, I have been asked to create a CTB / Plot File for a job but the colours are True Colours. Is there a quick and easy method to do this? Thanks in advance. Daz. Will these be plotted to color or B&W? CTB will only assign pen colors from 1 to 255 and the true colors will be converted to the closest to one of those colors as it can get. So anything in the true color that looks cyan will be converted to one of the RGB colors, generally speaking from 120 to 140 (I haven't verified exact numbers). So knowing that and how the colors in the drawing relate to lineweight will help you define the CTB. This is, of course, where I have to say STB is much easier when dealing with this scenario of true colors. Quote
