Mental ray beginner help

Hi guys, iv been using max for about a year and a half now and iv never used mental ray.

Hell, I'm not even 100 percent sure what its al about. I know its a form of rendering and used for realistic textures however.

I would like to become good at using it. However i can't find much in the way of beginner tutorials on the web.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you really want to learn Mental Ray, then you will need to invest a little. There is far too much to learn and free online tutorials are not going to get you where you need to be.
