RyanAtNelco Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Hello Everyone, In the past week i have been seeing some major performance issues with my autocad program. Things like switching between layouts and opening the layer or properties menu are causing the program to pause for 5-10 seconds. This isn't much alone but it seems to be happening more and more. Once a minute or two I am doing some command that causes me to wait for a response. Is there a cache file or something of that nature that I can clear out to increase performance? Any idea's would be greatly appreciated as I am not the only one in my office having this problem. Thanks! Quote
ReMark Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Take a look at the bottom of this page. See where it says Similar Threads? Check out the AutoCAD 2009: Slow Performance Issues thread. You are not the first to question the operational speed of AutoCAD. By the way, what OS are you running? Quote

ReMark Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I live closer to you than I work. From my house, near Hartford, Boston can be reached in a little under two hours on a good day. From where I work I'd have to add another hour. Quote
