proteus Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Hi. Probably a silly question and easy fix but.... i have a dwg with linework which i can see in Layout View but when i switch to Model space i cant find any linework. I've zoomed all extents etc. and checked it is there in the XRef Manager. Any ideas? Thanks Quote
rkent Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 More than likely you have at least one object a long way from all the others. In the Layout, go into the viewport (doubleclick or use PAPER toggle at bottom of screen), now with the linework showing start erase, all, remove, select everything you can see with a crossing window, enter. Now go to MS and do a zoom extents. Did I mention doing a saveas first just in case you blow away too much with the erase all and save by accident? Quote
proteus Posted April 29, 2009 Author Posted April 29, 2009 Thanks for that rkent, but that doesn't seem to change anything in model space. Any other ideas? or could it be a prob with the file? Does me not being able to view the preview of the xref in xref manager have any bearing? Thanks again. Quote
MiGo Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 The only thing I can think of is if your linework that you have referenced in is actually spaced right and drawn 1:1 to your paperspace area you may have put the xref in the layout tab. You are working through a viewport to edit this when in the layotu tab right? Quote
