liam5426 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Hi im a student currently drawing up floor plans for a 5 storey building. The problem I have is that the building is made of three segments, one is a simple 5 storey segement, 3000mm each floor. Then there is a lecture hall that - at its lowest point - intersects at the first floor, but then slopes upwards 6000mm to meet with the 3rd floor, where an entrance will be. The problem im having is which of the storeys floor plans I display the detail on due to it sloping upwards. Do I ignore it and X it of until i get to a floor where all the details are visible? or just show the detail on that floor, so the detail of the lecture hall will be spread across three floors? I know this is more of an architecture question than an issue with autocad, but no one I know seems to know the standard used by architects for presenting a room sloping down. Quote
Dipali Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 you can show the part plan of lecture hall - line dawing only in first floor & second floor plan. and than show the whole lecture hall plan with information in thrid floor plan & roof plan of that will get repeted in fourth floor, fifth & terrace plan also, may br slightly fainted lines.
