modify blocks 2004LT

hi

i am trying to modify a block in cad 2004 lt.

It is a simple table. I just want to shorten the lenth of the table.

I explode the block, shorten the length, redefine it using the block command, but the attributes do not redefine?

any help appreciated

Without the use of a third party bit of software LT is not capable of updating changes to a redefined attribute. My advice would be to WBLOCK the block to a separate file; then delete the block from the drawing, purge the drawing (usually at least once is required) then re-insert the block from the file you created earlier.
