Lighting Issue!

Hi Guys,

Im currently rendering a reception area...looking to create a soft light but im having trouble in making the light spread accross the room a bit. I dont want to depend on this light to light the full area, just want it to be a sort of feature light (if you get me).

Can you help?

You can use photometric light and turn off default light!

are you trying to create just 1 light but can illuminate the whole scene?

only 1 light cant do that...

if thats what your trying to do..

create 1 light with shadow is on and create more lights with shadows are off....

in this way the shadows of your 3d objects are cast only from 1 light source, the light that the shadow is on..(the light for fixture) but the since will lighten up its coz the other lights.. just adjust are tweak to see how many lights you need....

You can't play photometric lights with acad 2007!
