chelsea1307 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 ive taken some excell sheets and brought them into autocad through the table command. When I plot the text doesnt plot the right shade. all plots are greyscale. the text should plot .014 lineweight but its alot lighter. any suggestions? I dont want to lose all my time spent creating these and getting them to look right -add just noticed that one cell out of all of them plotted right, looking to see whats different about it, suggestions still needed Quote
chelsea1307 Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Ive been messing with settings trying to figure this out. If i plot to 8 1/2 x 11 instead of 30x42 it plots fine, this is good and all except i need it in 30x42 and my suggestion of taping the 8.5x11 together to make a 30x42 was voted against. Quote
AlinOz Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 You can try the age old Copy/ Paste Special and choose AutoCAD Entities... That'll allow you to control the Text Styles, Pen Weights, etc. in AutoCAD... P.S. you can even link it to the Excel Spreadsheet that way - your choice there Quote
chelsea1307 Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 youve completely lost me. The text style is set to what it should be, its the right color, I think its the plotter becasue thats the only explanation for why it plots fine from our regular printer (8.5x11 or 11x17) and not our plotter Quote
