Reloading Xref

Hi

have a drawing with an xref, have binded the xref by mistake of the original drawing i usually put it in an issued to site folder. i have opened up the drawing and want to re-attach my xref. i have am tring to insert the original xref but keeps coming up invalid drawing, have deleted the binded xref and have tried re-inserting the xref but keep getting the same message, can someone tell me what i am or have done wrong thanks

after deleting the binded xref you willl need to purge the drawing before reattching

If you have deleted the 'binded xref' try purging the file of blocks (at least once, usually upto 3 times or more is preferable), and then try re-inserting the xref
