Hi guys,

I was just wondering if max offers a method of constraining as similar in inventor?

I just dont like the motion of placing objects and then attaching them, seems in accurate.

any ideas?

What do you mean by constraining? I'm not familiar with Inventor.

Constraining is a way of flushing two faces.

You click on surface and then click another,

they then attach to each other. Its like using glue but the connection is nice and tidy.

I just don't like the approximations in max!

No need to approximate in Max. Just use your Snap options when placing objects. It may take a few extra steps to get exactly what you want, but Max can be just as accurate as any other program.

Do you have an example of something you are trying to do?
