Recently I received a drawing from a client in which they used a font that would not recognize the ascii character shortcuts: e.g. %%c, %%d, %%202, %%205 et. al. Is there a routine which will define these characters, or is there a font that will still recognize these shortcut ascii characters. Thanks for your time.

Look up unicodes in the help file, or in the mtext editor there is a symbol button you can use to replace them.

I had a client using CadKey who would save and send me *.dwg files.

This was a problem however, as Ryder76 stated, look up the unicodes or in the mtext editor.
