I have created contour lines from a topographic survey .

The property has several retaining walls and I want to fit the contour lines inside of the double line of ret. wall.

The contour lines are coming out of the ret. wall between shots I have taken at bottom and top of ret. wall.

Thanks for any help.

If you're using one of the Civil verticals, look into using Wall Breaklines.

Another thing to look at for walls is make sure the top is offset from the bottom by a very small amount else youwil have mesh problems. Also you may want to remove the mesh within the wall surface a bit tricky else you will get a solid line appearing on your drawing rather than a wall. I metric 1mm works note surveyors tolerance is around20 mm

It takes me some time to learn to work with wall break lines. I just wanted to know how can I manually move th contour lines into the wall. The wall is already drawn with double lines and yes the points at bottom have offset to the points on top.

Should just work dont forget if your looking vertically you probably wont see any contour lines look from a 3d point and you will.

It is best to modify the data that the contours are derived from. If after adding the wall breaklines the contours still don't appear correct, try using the "flip faces" or "swap edges" to edit the tin lines in order to force the contours into place. You may even find yourself adding and/or deleting tin lines.
