Aerial View .....with a twist!!

Hello again,

I know this may be stretching it, but i am am wondering if there is a command similar to the Aerial View Command, that allows me to zoom into and area in the Aerial View in one section of my drawing,

and then on my actual drawing zoom into another?? or does the Aerial view do that already and i am jsut using it wrong?? ....................or is there a lisp routine someone has they can share???

Basically all i am after is taking like a snapshot of an area and have it on my screen whilst being able to view another area,

Would two tiled viewports do it for you?
