Hi guys, new here. My coursework is due in on Monday and i've barely started it:

''You are to design a 3 bedroom two storey detached house to have the following accommodation:

Ground Floor: sitting room, dining room, kitchen, utility room and W.C. There is to be an attached single garage adjacent to the house with an internal door opening into the utility room.

First floor: 3 bedrooms, family bathroom with W.C. and walk in store with hot water cylinder. The master bedroom is to have an en-suite shower room/ W.C.

You are to draw ground floor and first floor plans to show cavity brick/block external walls with cavity insulation and internal partitions to be dry lined blockwork at ground floor and stud partitions to first floor. The plans should include sanitary fittings,

kitchen units and furniture layout. The floor plans are to be fully dimensioned and include an electrical layout showing power and lighting using conventional symbols for sockets, switches and light fittings with cable runs shown as dashed or dotted lines.

You are to draw all the elevations in sufficient detail to be able to distinguish fixed and opening lights to the windows, sills, rain water disposal and fascia boards.

You are to draw a vertical section through the eaves showing the junction between the external wall and the roof including timber roof structure and coverings, wall plate, wall and ceiling linings, insulation, necessary roof void ventilation and rainwater disposal. The detail must also show the head of a window opening including lintel supporting brickwork/ blockwork cavity wall with insulation and window frame and double glazing.

All drawings are to be drawn accurately and in proportion (at a scale of 1:1) using standard construction industry hatching conventions, with materials labelled. The drawings must be set up using several layers as appropriate (for example: Walls; doors; windows; furniture; sanitary fittings; electrical; text and dimensions). Marks will also be awarded for setting up and using blocks for items such as furniture, fittings or windows (as appropriate), setting up the dimension style as appropriate and different text styles for labelling and titles.

You are to set up a maximum of 2 layout tabs ready for plotting your drawings onto A1 or A0 (which ever fits best) but do not plot your drawings. The plans and elevations are to be set up to be plotted at a scale of 1:50 and the eaves detail at a scale of 1:10. The viewports are to be arranged neatly and each is to have a separate title. ''

I have designed my house, although its not great (will do). I have drawn up my ground floor and first floor plan. I don't know how to do things such as create the layout tabs, show the electical fittings and show the dimensions. I realise its too late to expect a good mark I just need to do what I can and get 'some' marks, better than nothing. Have a massive exam on wednesday which has been taking up all my time.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Noone here is interested in doing your work for you, you will not learn anything from it, and everyone here has got their own work/school to do.

I read from your last paragraph that you had some parts done on your own - which is good. If you need help to complete it, tell us where you get stuck and we can help you figure out the next step.

It does not benefit us in the least to do your coursework. That is your responsibility not ours. We are more than happy to answers questions, offer advice and demonstrate technique but you are the student and ultimately responsible for completing all assignments. Knuckle down and do as much as you can and let this be a lesson to you.

If you have specific questions ask them. You may wish to list them all in one post or break them up into multiple posts.

I don't see where the OP wanted anyone to do their work. The last paragraph shows what they need help with. Probably too late now.

You are probably right Rkent - but by first putting up the whole of the assignment I think he scared off a lot of members that would have otherwise helped him, there also is no real description of what he wanted help with, which also makes it harder to offer help.

But yeah, if the deadline was today, probably too late.

I think it was the opening line.
