Stanier Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Hi -I am running AutoCad 2000 and wish to send a copy of a drawing as a .doc file in order that it can be opened by a third party in Word. Is this possible? Regards Stanier Quote
The Buzzard Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Why not just make it a PDF. For a document you would have to save your drawing as an image and paste it in the doc. That would not be very good. The image could end up looking blurry. Quote
BIGAL Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 The best way is to create a WMF if you want to insert into a word doc WMFOUT you can ole link but wmf is better quality. You must have your background set to white. Quote
skipsophrenic Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I'd go with the PDF option, there are plenty of decent pdf writers out there that you can download for free. Quote
