Hi -I am running AutoCad 2000 and wish to send a copy of a drawing as a .doc file in order that it can be opened by a third party in Word. Is this possible?

Regards

Why not just make it a PDF. For a document you would have to save your drawing as an image and paste it in the doc. That would not be very good. The image could end up looking blurry.

The best way is to create a WMF if you want to insert into a word doc WMFOUT you can ole link but wmf is better quality.

You must have your background set to white.

I'd go with the PDF option, there are plenty of decent pdf writers out there that you can download for free.

Many thanks for all who helped with this query. I will go with the .pdf option. Stanier
