Tappering

I want to extrude a circle but need to tapper in as well no much but i have no idea how i had a go with the tapper tool but wasn't really sure how it works any suggestions would be great thanks

the LOFT command should work - if that is availible for you, don't know since I don't have Arch myself

After selecting the objects that you want to extrude look at the command line, there should be an option for Taper. Enter the angle that you want the taper to be, then the height of extrusion.

I do have loft command but when i try it is says Cannot perform loft with fewer than two cross sections. which i would a asume that means i don't no what i'm doing. how do i fix that? thanks

Did you look for Loft in Help? There's a good explanation there.

I suggest you use extrude.

After issueing the command and selecting your circle it will perompt for path or height. Enter your height. After entering a height it will then prompt for the taper.
