Raggi_Thor
Can someone tell me more about the link between 3DStudio (2009?) and AutoCAD or the dwg file? I tried something like dwg link in the file menu and it worked very much like xref in AutoCAD, but shouldn't I get a notofication when the dwg file is changed? Now I had to reload it manually. Is it also possible for 3DStudio to change the dwg file while it's edited by someone else in AutoCAD, with a dynamic update?
Cad64
I've moved your question to the 3DS Max section. I thought the linked CAD file updated automatically, but maybe I'm wrong about that? I don't have Max or Autocad on this machine anymore, but I will take a look when I get to work.

Cad64
Well, I thought it was an automatic update, but I guess not. At least not on Max9. I don't see any option for notifications either.
