CadTechJGC184 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 hello, I have 15 tabs and I want to move one down 2 places. I see how to move it to the end, but that does me no good. Any suggestion? Thank you!! Quote
lpseifert Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Try the option to move 'Before layout'; highlight the layout that you want it to precede. Quote
CadTechJGC184 Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 I don't understand! The only " MOVE " is a " MOVE TO END ". that's not what I need. i need to just move it down 2 or 3 tabs. Quote
Cad64 Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 You can't drag and drop in 2006. You will have to do as lpseifert suggested. Right click on the layout you want to move. In the "Move or Copy" dialog, it says "Move or Copy selected layouts". Then it says, "Before layout". So click on the layout that you want your current layout to precede. Make sure "Create a copy" is unchecked. Click OK. Your current layout will now move before the layout you chose. Quote
ToddM Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 This has driven me crazy for years......thank you so much. I used to think (move to end) was the only option, so I would have to move many tabs one at a time until the preferred order was achieved. Thanks again! Quote
BIGAL Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Newer versions you can "DRAG" a layout tab to where you want in terms of order. Quote
