draw order selection

for reasons I will not get into, my cad drawings are full with closed polylines that in some areas fit perfectly on top of each other. Is there a way to select the poly line (or any other object) that is completly covered by other polylines (it is "sent to back") without changing the draw order.

Try holding down Ctrl while selecting, it will cycle through the objects in the pickbox (it may be Shift+Spacebar instead of Ctrl in 2006, I can't remember).
