Hi an welcome to the forum. I have moved your question to a new thread, always start a new thread with each new question.

As to your problem, what is you DIMSCALE variable set as? (type DIMSCALE at the commandline to check)

In the Dimstyle dialogue box, do you have a box for Scale Dimension Features under the Fit-tab? Don't have 2002 here so it might look different on your end.

I have ran into similar issues, Create a new text style with the height of 0, i call it DIMTXT, and use that style in your dimstyle. That way the text height in the dimstyle will be applicable. If there is a text style in the dimstyle with height that overrides the text height in the dimstyle. Hope that helps.

If there is no dimensioning being done in model space then there is no need to create a second Dimstyle for paper space. Edit the Dimstyle parameters to give you the output you're looking for in paper space. I always dimension in paper space using either 3/32nds or 1/8th as my dimension text height even though my viewports can and sometimes do have different scales.
