Gradient Solid Hatch Appears Distorted

Hello,

I am having a problem with the gradient solid hatch, when I zoom in on it it distorts, and it also plots distorted, see pic:

the city silhouette and the car, I also had problems with the lantern poles and the man as well, but it's not noticable in the pic.

Any tips would be very much appreciated!

sometimes, while hatching an area, moving your ucs origin to somewhere close to area that will be hatched may solve distortions.

this was first thing I've learned in this forum

Ok, thanks, I will try that, I have my drawing Units set to meters, so the areas are quite small, when I hatched larger areas there was no distortion, or maybe i just got lucky...
