silverboyd Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 ok...just a few days ago I had a problem with printing CAD files to PDF files. So after re-installing Adobe i was able to create PDF files again in CAD. But i noticed that since re-installing Adobe my titleblock text is now italics and it is unable to be changed. At my work station is the only one that shows it in italics. Everyone else on the network sees the titleblock as it is suppose to be. I've tried replacing the Fonts folder in the CAD2004 folder to see if something was corrupted but it did not help. Has anyone seen this? Does anyone have a possible solution? Quote
chulse Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Does this happen in CAD or only in the PDF created from cad? Quote
silverboyd Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 happens in CAD whether i open up CAD2004 or CAD 2008....it only makes my titleblock text italics....all other text in the drawings is fine. Didn't happen until i had to re-install Adobe Quote
chulse Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I suspect the font is a true type font (TTF) and Adobe may have installed a version of the font different from the other machines in your office. TTF fonts are on your local machine and not in the cad support folder (like shx fonts). You may just need to re-install the old font. Quote
silverboyd Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 hopefully that will work....i'll try. You're sayign it may have been corrupted or removed for some reason? Quote
silverboyd Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 turns out...the file on the titleblock was made in AutoCAD and it's based around the style (Lucida Sans). I think the file changed it to italics and wont give me the option to make the text style REGULAR. Quote
