Cad64 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Has anyone else experienced any problems in 2010 with disappearing crosshairs after plot preview? Here's the situation: I'm inside an active viewport in my layout I open up the plot dialog and do a plot preview just to see how things are looking I hit esc to get out of the preview and then cancel the plot Now my crosshairs are gone If I double click outside the viewport, my crosshairs return, but if go back into the viewport, they're gone again. This problem only happens if I do a plot preview inside an active viewport and then cancel the plot. If no viewports are active, everything's fine and if I continue with the plot, everything's fine. It's only if I cancel the plot while a viewport is active. This is not confined to just one drawing. It can happen in any drawing. And the only way to get the crosshairs back is to close the drawing and then open it back up again. Am I the only one experiencing this? It's very annoying. Quote
Cad64 Posted June 1, 2009 Author Posted June 1, 2009 Update After the last disappearance, I decided to continue working in model space, and after about 10 minutes I went back to my layout, double clicked inside the viewport and the crosshairs had returned. So apparently it's just a temporary nuisance, but I would still like to figure out why it's happening. Quote
Cad64 Posted June 1, 2009 Author Posted June 1, 2009 Ok, so I found that if I deactivate the viewport after the crosshairs dissapear, do another plot preview, esc and cancel the plot, I can get the crosshairs back. What a pain. Quote
Cad64 Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 Update: The Autocad 2010 Update 1 has solved this issue. Quote
