Fixing viewport positions in paper space

Hi

Please help if you can.

I'm trying to fix the location of several viewports one per paper space tab. I would like to accurately fix it so I have absolutely no overlap between each paper space tab. I have managed to fix the scale of the viewport and can see that it is possible to define the centre of the viewport, but this is in the coords of the paper space not the modelspace?

Any help gratefully received.

I've worked it out. activate the view port to live.

Make sure the box drawn as the viewport is the exact right size, and have a box drawn in model space which represents the correct area exactly in size.

then do zoom window in paper space within the viewport to the box drawn in model space

exit out of the viewport and lock it, first checking the scale is as you were expecting!
