raj banerjee Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 hello there peeps, im trying to draw a shape which I havnt got a clue how to do. I will try to explain, if you look in plan view you will have 2 circles, 1 will be 2 thirds the saze of the other, the smaller circle will be placed within the bigger one placed closely to the right hand side. I want the small circle to be lower than the bigger one, then I want the outer edges joined to make a solid which will be the shape of a funnel sort of thing bu it will be not centred, as in it will besteeper one side than the other. does this make sense to anyone? any help would be great Quote
ReMark Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Sounds like a reducer or transition piece of some sort. Why not use the LOFT command? Quote
raj banerjee Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 hello remark, thats a cracking idea, just 2 questions: what is it and how do I use it? lol will have a gander at the help file now :-) Quote
ReMark Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 From AutoCAD Help file: LOFT: "Creates a 3D solid or surface in the space between several cross sections." In my example there are only two cross-sections represented by the circles. The Help file will instruct you in the use of the command. Quote

Hugh_Compton Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Just as an additional note, if you needed ANSI Steel Eccentric Reducers I have posted them free on the following link: http://www.herculedesign.com/3D%20AutoCAD%20Eccentric%20Reducers.htm Quote
