idavid Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Hi all! I wonder if someone could help me... I have to use OS mastermap within my drawings at work. The GIS department have all the tiles saved as dwg. format on a network so I can access them. When I try to insert one as a block into my drawing the units default to inches, which is no good to me. However, when I open the read only file it's all in metric! So im currently having to open the file and then copy and paste it into my drawing which is time consuming. Blocks that i make myself are inserted in the units that they were made - ie mm. So what's going on? How can I get mastermap to come in in metric? Hope this all makes sense. Thanks Quote
dbroada Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 search this site or F1 AutoCAD for INSUNITS. It will all become clear! Quote
idavid Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 Thanks for the help. Now I just need to get my head round it I've had a look at the mastermap files and they are all set to INSUNITS:1 but they are drawn in mm... so now what? Quote
