amanda phillips Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I have created a drawing border with several different attributes in the block. Is there some way that i could repeat an attribute (say drawing number or drawing title) so that the information will be displayed in more than one place on the border but i will only have to enter the data once when filling out the drawing details. Hope thats not too confusing. Thanks Quote
chelsea1307 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I think what your after are fields possibly the need for sheet set manager Quote
Ryder76 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 You can use fields without the sheet set manager. Quote

Now when the attribute is changed the field will be also after forcing a regen to update the drawing. Quote
chelsea1307 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Rkents way will work for what you need, you could also set up sheet set manager, then you would be able to make these changes without even needing to open the dwg. all depends on what your comfortable with and what you want to do. Quote
