Urgent:: How to bring CG of a system at given point.

I have drawn two objects in 3d, I want to bring the CG of the system to the CG of one of the particular object(i need to modify the drawing of the particular object). How do i proceed?

I have attached the dwg file. i want to bring the CG of the drawing in red to the CG of the whole system.

Have you looked into the MASSPROP command?

Is CG the same as the centroid ?

If so, does using MASSPROP command work ?

yes CG is Centre of gravity and it is same as centroid.

I have looked in to the massprop command. I wanted to ask how can i shift the CG to a particular point,ofcourse i need to make some modifications. is it clear? or i am making things more complex

So this is not really an AutoCAD question? You want to know how to alter an object so that it's center of gravity is moved?

If I'm mistaken - then use move? use MASSPROP to extract the center of gravity for one object and use that as the destination point for the other object

i wanted to know whether it is possible to do tht alteration(which u understood correctly)....or i will have to do it manually and then add some other object to it to shift the cg?

I would say you have to do it manually. And those kind of calculations it was a long time since I did so I can't help you here..... I remember there were lots of parenthesis though...
