different hatch scales

hello there, ive got a question for you guys:

I have drawn a while back a boundary hatch in my drawing.

now i wanted to draw the same boundary hatch so i draw a random one and use match properties to copy the properties.

now the two hatches have the same properties but still have different scaling. (yes the scale propertie is also the same.

what is causing this? and how can i fix/prevent it

Check your "measurement" setting also check "aecdwgsetup". If you have copied a hatch object from another drawing this weird problem occurs sometimes.
