different assemblies with same axe-model

hi all,

I have an assembly consisting of different parts that are built with the same derived axe-model. I want to make another assembly by changing the axe-model but I also wanna keep my previous assembly. I copied it and started changing the axe-model but that way my first assembly changes too as the copy also refers to the original axe-model. Hope this doesn't sound jiberish, what do I do wrong?

If you put all related copied files in a different folder and make an ipj project in that folder active you will not have this problem.

Design Assistant is another way of copying files and is the preferred method but takes a bit more instruction.
