I am using Autocad 2002. The drawing I am working in is so slow....it takes 3 seconds to select an object to copy, move or do whatever. It is not a large file and the contents are two dimensional polylines of various linetypes used to create about 50 individual site plans drawn at 1:1. The only thing I can think of is that I have copied the site plans from an older job into this one so I can use them as templates and not have to redraw everything...because they are generally very similar. However, other dwg's with the same site plans in them are not running slow...any ideas??? The waiting is killing me!!!!!:?

Have you purged the drawing at all?

yes i have...and have resorted to redrawing the site plans every time so I don't go crazy.

Then I suggest you get going on that list.
