dirtlegg Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I am using Autocad 2002. The drawing I am working in is so slow....it takes 3 seconds to select an object to copy, move or do whatever. It is not a large file and the contents are two dimensional polylines of various linetypes used to create about 50 individual site plans drawn at 1:1. The only thing I can think of is that I have copied the site plans from an older job into this one so I can use them as templates and not have to redraw everything...because they are generally very similar. However, other dwg's with the same site plans in them are not running slow...any ideas??? The waiting is killing me!!!!! Quote
ReMark Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Many good suggestions for speeding AutoCAD up as put together by forum member rkent. Start at the top and work your way through it. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28916&page=2 Quote
